#40: Joan Jett
Age: 49
Where you know her from:
Joan Jett ran away from home at 15, and released her first record only a few short years later. She’s headed a number of bands, and eventually went out on her own as a solo (and highly successful) rock act.
Why she made the list
Joan Jett’s been rockin’ out, and kickin’ ass since before I was born. The sheer fact that she’s been kicking so much ass, for so long makes her worthy of our list.

#39: Meg Ryan
Age: 46
Where you know her from:
Meg Ryan’s been making chick flicks, since before you or I even knew what a chick flick was. Movies like When Harry Met Sally (1989), Joe Versus The Volcano (1990), Sleepless in Seattle (1993) all put Meg Ryan on the map, and made her a go-to girl for romantic comedies. Though the first real thing I can personally remember seeing her in, is Top Gun, as Goose’s wife.
Why she made the list
Meg Ryan’s one of those women who you never see age. She’s looked exactly the same for the last twenty years, and shows no sign of looking any older, any time soon. She’s got the classic girl next door look about her. And the scene at the sandwich shop in When Harry Met Sally certainly helped get her on the list.

#38: Stacey Dash
Age: 41
Where you know her from:
Stacey played the best friend of Alicia Silverstone’s Cher, in 1995’s Clueless. She went on to do the Clueless TV show shortly thereafter, but has been mostly silent since then. According to IMDB, she’s got six movies in the works, due out later this year, and early next.
Why she made the list
She was gorgeous when you saw her in 1995, in Clueless, and she’s still gorgeous twelve years later. It almost weirds me out that she’s 41 years old. She still could play a seventeen year old.

#37: Michael Michele
Age: 41
Where you know her from:
She did a few seasons on TV’s “ER”, an episode here and there of various law-type TV shows. She had a small role in 2003’s How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days opposite Kate Hudson.
Why she made the list
Michael Michele is a classically gorgeous woman, who looks just as good in jeans and a t-shirt, as she does in an evening gown. It’s hard to leave her off this list.

#36: Elisabeth Shue
Age: 44
Where you know her from:
Elisabeth got her started in 1984’s The Karate Kid, as Ali, the love interest. Since then you’ve seen her in Back to the Future Part II (1989), Back to the Future III (1990), and my favorite Adventures in Babysitting (1987). Elisabeth continues to make movies today, though it seems she doesn’t work as much as she used to. 2007 brought us Gracie, which was another movie about soccer. Needless to say, I passed on it.
Why she made the list
Ever since Adventures in Babysitting, I can safely say that any guy my age always hoped that they had a babysitter as hot as Elisabeth Shue, when they were a kid. Elisabeth’s grown up nicely over the years, but still retains her childlike beauty. From what I gather online, she’s never had any type of surgery, and she still looks great at 44.

#35: Catherine Keener
Age: 48
Where you know her from:
Catherine had done a ton of movies, before she made it big in 2005’s The 40 Year Old Virgin. You may also remember her from 1998’s Out of Sight, 1992’s The Gun in Betty Lou’s Handbag, or 1999’s Being John Malkovich. Since Virgin, Catherine has gone on to roles in Capote, Friends With Money, and has a number of upcoming movies in the works.
Why she made the list
Keener’s Trish (The 40 Year Old Virgin) made us all fall in love with her. Some people may argue that she’s not gorgeous, in the traditional sense, there’s just something about her.

#34: Demi Moore
Age: 45
Where you know her from:
“St. Elmo’s Fire”, One Crazy Summer, The Seventh Sign, Ghost, A Few Good Men, Indecent Proposal, Striptease. Need I say more?
Why she made the list
Demi had been playing typically “safe” roles for the first part of her career. I remember seeing The Seventh Sign at a drive-in, and being scared silly. It all turned around, and suddenly Demi was a sex symbol in 1996, when Striptease came out. Perfectly suited that the year I turned 17, a R rated movie that my friends and I all wanted to go see comes out in theaters. Destiny? I say so.

#33: Daisy Fuentes
Age: 41
Where you know her from:
If you watched MTV at all, in the 90s, you know Daisy. She hosted about 4 trillion shows over the years, from spring break shows, to dating shows, to anything else MTV would pay her for. Nowadays, she’s doing VH1’s I Love the ’90s shows. And apparently she runs some clothing line now, too.
Why she made the list
As a kid, Daisy Fuentes was one of the only reasons to watch MTV. Even back in the 90s, there was hardly any music played on the station. But Daisy made it worth while.

#32: Maura Tierney
Age: 42
Where you know her from:
Maura has portrayed Dr. Abby Lockhart on TV’s ER since 1999. You may also know her from 1997’s Liar Liar, where she acted opposite man-of-the-decade Jim Carrey.
Why she made the list
Maura gets bonus points for being from Boston, since that’s where we live. Aside from that, she’s classically beautiful. No plastic surgery for Maura, either. You very rarely hear about her in the press, she’s low key, and keeps to herself. She wins points for the “no drama” factor.

#31: Julia Louis Dreyfus
Age: 46
Where you know her from:
You must live under a rock, if you’ve never seen Seinfeld. Or, Saturday Night Live. Or maybe you remember Julia in 1989’s Christmas Vacation, and the Griswold’s neighbor, Margo.
Why she made the list
Julia Louis Dreyfus portraying Elaine Benes on Seinfeld was never an attractive woman, by any means. I can safely say that no man alive found Elaine attractive. Suddenly, this The New Adventures of Old Christine show pops up (which I’ve seen a few times), and it’s like bam! Julia Louis Dreyfus is suddenly a knock-out. Plus, anyone who can go from starring in Troll (one of the worst movies ever), to a hit television show, is okay with me.
