This morning’s news is that Blade actor Wesley Snipes is facing three years in jail for tax evasion. He was convicted of willfully not filing his taxes for five years. Despite character references from famous friends, and an argument by Snipes’ attorney that tax evasion is not a jail-worthy crime, the judge sentenced him anyway.
