I always said eBay is a wonderful thing. The hot ticket item this week is a ‘77 Chevy Camaro, slightly used. The current bid (at 5pm on July 15th) is $30,100. Why? Because that yellow Camaro stars in Transformers as Bumblebee, one of the Autobots. You can bid on Bumblebee, Sam’s grandfather’s glasses, or even the Allspark.
Feeling a little geeky spending $30K on a 30-year-old car? Feel better knowing the proceeds are going to charity - the Fisher House Foundation which houses military families close to loved ones in military hospitals.
