Forbes released a list of the top-earning young stars. The list had many sports stars and young actors, including all three of the stars of Harry Potter.

Daniel Radcliffe earns $15 million. Emma Watson earns $4 million, as does Rupert Grint.

The Countdown to Christmas continues with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban airing on ABC Family at 6pm EST tonight. The Santa Clause 2 is airing at the same time on TBS, but you’re better off watching Harry Potter or finding the original Santa Clause on DVD.

This Harry Potter finds Harry and friends faced with a dangerous prisoner that escaped from the wizard prison (which was previously assumed impossible). The third installment in the series gives us a lot of backstory about what happened the night Harry’s parents died. Catch it tonight at 6pm.

As I mentioned yesterday, ABC Family has started their yearly 25 Days of Christmas programming. The Harry Potter marathon continues tonight with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the second movie.

This movie finds Harry in mortal danger, as usual. This time Hogwarts students are being petrified (not “scared” but actually frozen in place like a petrified tree) in the halls and Harry’s hearing voices. We find out Ron’s greatest fear and meet one of Hagrid’s forest friends.

Check it out on ABC Family tonight at 6pm EST.

The IESB has two new featurettes about the next installment in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The first featurette is about the new Quidditch costumes and the second is about set design for the orphanage where we meet the young Tom Riddle.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth movie in the series, and is set to be released on November 21st, 2008.

Filmstalker reports that British comedian Billy Connolly may be cast in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The rumor says that Connolly might be up for the role of Xenophilous Lovegood, the father of Harry’s schoolmate Luna Lovegood (played by Evanna Lynch).

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the adaptation of the seventh and final Harry Potter book, is set for a 2010 release.

Daniel Radcliffe sat down with Entertainment Weekly to talk about his role in December Boys, and how it’s oh-so-different from Harry Potter. Maps, Radcliffe’s character in Boys, smokes, drinks, and gets busy. Here’s what he has to say about the soon-to-be-infamous scene:

What I love about that scene is that it’s very, very sweet. It’s a mixture of genuine innocence and something that’s not anywhere near innocent. Even though you get the feeling she’s being very overtly sexy, it still seems very harmless and tender and caring.

A British actor named Jim Broadbent (Gangs of New York, Moulin Rouge) has been cast in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as Professor Slughorn, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. I had pictured Slughorn as shorter and portlier, but Broadbent is such a well-respected actor that I guess I’ll get used to it.

Broadbent is also appearing in the new Indiana Jones flick, titled Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Daniel Radcliffe is quickly shedding his typecast as The Boy Who Lived. On September 14th his new film December Boys hits the big screen in the UK and in limited release in the US. Radcliffe and three others play orphans who leave the orphanage for a trip to the beach.

The minimal plot details available on IMDb don’t really make me want to go see the movie, however, the chance to see Radcliffe in his first non-Harry Potter big-screen role will have my butt in a theater seat on September 14th.
