By Sylar, of course I mean Zachary Quinto, the genius actor that plays Sylar on “Heroes” and will be playing Spock in the upcoming Star Trek movie. ComingSoon.net has an exclusive interview with the star who revealed as much as he was contractually allowed about both “Heroes” and Trek.
Since I’m not a Star Trek fan by any means, the most interesting question for me was if any of the cast of “Heroes” will be appearing on the spin-off “Origins.” Quinto’s answer:
I don’t think that at this point, any of us are scheduled to appear in “Origins” episodes, but that can always change closer to shooting them. But I’m pretty sure they’re probably going to be doing that simultaneously with us finishing up the season, so I don’t think there’s going to be much of an opportunity for us to be available for it.
While I’m slightly disappointed, I guess it’s better off that the spin-off stands (mostly) alone. In case you hadn’t heard, Kevin Smith will be writing and directing the first episode of “Origins.”
