Hey there! I’m back with the all-new edition of DIB?, fresh from my Labor Day excursion! Sorry that this is a couple of days tardy, kiddies! I hope that all of you had a great Labor Day weekend. I know that I did!
Anyway, we’ve got 4 films that were showcased at WIB? last week. So, let’s get cracking and check out how my predictions came out against what you, the viewers, chose to fork over your cash for!
Balls of Fury:
Will It Bomb? Goofball 30-year-old former ping pong champ wants to get both his vengeance and freak on. Top 10, for sure! Probable shot into the 5.
Did It Bomb? $17.1 million, and it plopped into the #3 spot. How about that?

Death Sentence:
Will It Bomb? Kevin Bacon does a new version of Death Wish. This won’t hold a candle to it. Low end of the 10.
Did It Bomb? Apparently, not very many people got into this, but it did end up where I expected it to. #8 position, with a revenue of $5.34 million.

Halloween:
Will It Bomb? Rob Zombie: an amazing musician showing off just how much of a visionary he’s become in the directing realm. By taking his cue from the classic, and adding his own touch, this will be some sick stuff! Top 10, probably will get into the Top 5.
Did It Bomb? Hell no! It hit the top spot! #1, with a $30.6 million dollar take. Who said no one likes Halloween in August?

Self Medicated(Limited Release):
Will It Bomb? With the story of a very angry teenaged drug addict, placed in rehab (pretty much) against his will, it should make a penny or two.
Did It Bomb? Since indies are often hard to gauge, my theory is that with a bit over $60,100 earned from a handful of theatres, this did fairly well.

Outcome: Mezza-mezza. 3 ½ out of 4.
