Hello, kids! Welcome to this week’s edition of DIB?! Here are last week’s box office results and assessments, just for you! We had a pretty eclectic group of flicks, so how did they fare? Let’s get right to it!
Good Luck Chuck: Dane Cook is a rather reluctant “lucky charm†to the women he dates. Will he break the streak?
Will It Bomb? Lowbrow comedy is always welcome on the 10.
Did It Bomb? #2 spot, with an earning of $13.7 million. Very good!
Outcome: Score! 1 out of 3
Resident Evil: Extinction: Video game zombies galore in what used to be Las Vegas.
Will It Bomb? Top 10 spot, definitely. Top 5 spot, debatable.
Did It Bomb? No way! $23.7 million take and it hit #1!
Outcome: Mezza-mezza. 1 ½ out of 3
Sydney White: Amanda Bynes stars in the saddest tale of them all: “Sorority Kicks Snow White Outâ€.
Will It Bomb? Seems really stupid, but the target audience (teenyboppers) will pay to see it. Low end of the 10.
Did It Bomb? $5. 2 million and a #6 spot. Not a bomb outright, but not a runaway hit, either.
Outcome: Mezza-mezza. 2 out of 3
Well, I did pretty well with my predictions, huh? As promised, the following film was in limited release last week, so let’s revisit it (in a condensed format) and see how it has done:
