Superhero Hype has the scoop on some new writers for “Heroes: Origins,” the spin-off series from the wildly popular “Heroes.” Horror writer/director Eli Roth is set to write an episode, as well as Michael Dougherty, co-writer of Superman Returns.

Also news to note, Entertainment Weekly has pictures and details on the new heroes for “Origins,” including Kristen Bell. It’s in this week’s issue (the one with Masi Oka on the cover).
