Having just finished reading Bruce Campbell’s book, If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor
(which I highly recommend), I’m really excited about the prospect of there being an Evil Dead IV. Bruce spoke to the MTV Movies Blog recently about a timeline and plot for the movie. He says,
Nobody knows anything. I mean if we were really smart, we’d go back to a handheld movie and shoot it in 16mm and find someplace in the middle of nowhere. And have a crew of 10 people. If we were smart.
After reading all about his experiences filming the first (and second, and third) Evil Dead flicks, I think a small crew in the middle of nowhere might bring out the best movie, as he suggests.
