We’ve been fascinated by the Jigsaw Journals kept by actor Tobin Bell during the making of all four Saw movies. It appears he’s not the only actor keeping a journal to improve their performance. The Dark Knight Unofficial Movie Blog writes about the Joker Journal that Heath Ledger has been keeping. In it he keeps notes about the Joker to improve his understanding of the character, including a list of things the Joker would find funny.
Bravo to Ledger for having the smarts to know that the Joker is a very complex character. We are very much looking forward to his performance in The Dark Knight…eight and a half months from now.
