  New Review: Elizabeth: The Golden Age

Katy checked out the second Cate Blanchett film about the Virgin Queen (Queen Elizabeth I), and gave it a five star rating. Katy says,

Cate Blanchett has successfully delivered another Oscar-worthy performance, and if it were up to me, she’d get the Best Actress award right now. There was absolutely nothing that this film lacked or needed. I cannot stop thinking that every performance, scene, costume, prop was utter perfection.

    Though I loved the performances, I had some serious issues with the story and the music (which was excruciatingly annoying).
