Apparently women hate Keira Knightley. She was recently quoted as saying “If you put yourself in the public forum, it’s what you put yourself up for.” Her words were in response to a note in a British newspaper saying that women bond over a mutual hatred of her.
This is news to me. I love Keira Knightley. She was totally badass in Domino, and she’s fabulous as Elizabeth Swan in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. I can’t understand why women would hate her. She’s a strong female role model, even refusing to allow her image to be altered to make her breasts appear bigger in movie posters.
Any ladies out there with me?

I wasn’t planning on writing about this, because Dane Cook complaining about something isn’t high on my list of interesting things. But judging from the amount of people coming to our site looking for the poster he’s complaining about, I couldn’t resist any longer.
Dane Cook, comedian and sometimes actor, is in a new romantic comedy starring Jason Biggs, Kate Hudson, and Alec Baldwin. The poster (which can be found here in full size, or seen miniaturized below) is awful, to say the least. But Cook wrote a ten-point rant detailing all the reasons why the poster is horrendous. Among the complaints:
1. Graphics: Whoever photoshopped [sic] our poster must have done so at taser point with
3 minutes to fulfill their hostage takers deranged obligations.
and
9. The cast: Alec Baldwin is so f****** funny in this movie! Is he on the poster? I think so. He plays the wise talking plant Jason is clutching.
I totally agree with the Alec Baldwin point. More importantly, if you’re putting Dane Cook and Jason Biggs on a poster with the gorgeous Kate Hudson, wouldn’t you put her in the center?

Although we previously reported that Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton’s new baby girl was named Indiana Rose, it seems we were mistaken along with everyone else.
Reports now say that her name is Nell.

While he’s still recovering from a car accident earlier this week, news reports have said Morgan Freeman and his wife of 24 years are getting divorced.
According to E! Online, Freeman and his wife, Myrna Colley-Lee, have been separated since December, so clearly this has nothing to do with the car accident.
Our thoughts are with Mr. Freeman, as we can’t imagine surviving a car wreck and finalizing your divorce makes for the best week.
