Are you a fan of Knocked Up? Want to contribute to a good cause? There’s a Knocked Up movie poster on sale on eBay signed by the entire cast, and the proceeds benefit the Make a Noise Foundation. The Foundation was started by Steve Vai in 1998 and is “committed to the incredible power of music, the foundation’s goal is to provide funding for music education and programs for those unable to pursue music-related activities due to limited resources.”

The current auctions (which also include signed music memorabilia from No Doubt, Sevendust, Lit, Linkin Park, Disturbed and other bands) will be used to assist with the medical bills for Allen Shellenberger, drummer for Lit. The auctions all state:

Allen Shellenberger, the drummer for Orange County rock back Lit, has been diagnosed with a grade 4 malignant brain tumor. Biopsy results have identified Allen’s tumor as diffused glioblastoma multiforme, the most aggressive of primary brain tumors. It is the same type of cancer Senator Edward M. Kennedy is battling. Allen is 38 years old and Lit has been a band and a brotherhood for over 20 years. Despite the news, Allen and the band are committed to the fight.

To help offset Allen’s medical costs, The Make A Noise Foundation is sponsoring this auction through Ebay’s Giving Works Program. All proceeds will benefit Allen Shellenberger and Cedars-Sinai’s Maxine Dunitz Neurosurgical Institute in Los Angeles. Thank you so much for your support!
