As a fan of Milla Jovovich, the news that the Resident Evil film franchise may get a fourth installment makes me incredibly happy.
I was a latecomer to the Resident Evil movies, catching the first one a full five years after it was released. After watching it I couldn’t believe I had missed it, and couldn’t wait to see the sequels. Milla Jovovich is a fantastic action actress (making even the dull Ultraviolet at least entertaining at times) and Alice is a compelling character.
The end of the third movie, Resident Evil: Extinction, was left wide open for a sequel, and even had the beginnings of a plotline.
The MTV Movies Blog spoke with the RE writer/director Paul W.S. Anderson who says a fourth film is likely. In an encouraging quote, Anderson says,
I love the Resident Evil franchise and we always try to make the best possible movie we can. If we could find a good Resident Evil 4 to make, then we would do it. But I wouldn’t just do it for the sake of it, that’s for sure.
For now, we can rewatch the previous three movies on Blu-ray or check out the couple of films Milla has coming out in 2009.

Drumroll please…this is the 400th review on MovieSnobs! Naturally, it’s a movie we love, starring people we love. The Fifth Element is a sci fi flick starring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich. It’s a five star review. Christine says,
After being told for years that I’d like The Fifth Element, I finally caved and watched it. And I loved it. I wanted to watch it again immediately.

Superhot actress Milla Jovovich will star in a new thriller called The 4th Kind, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The movie should start filming in June. It’s a based-on-a-true-story thriller about a town in Alaska with a bunch of mysterious disappearances. Milla plays someone investigating the disappearances, which are thought to be an FBI coverup.

Steve Zahn’s a funny guy, but he’s no George Clooney. Milla Jovovich, on the other hand, is the perfect woman (as The Fifth Element tells us and the Resident Evil series of films proves). She’s f’n gorgeous, and I’m a straight married woman.
So it makes no sense that she and Zahn, star of both Rescue Dawn and Joy Ride, would play a married couple on their honeymoon in a new horror movie called A Perfect Getaway. In the movie, the newlyweds meet another couple who turn out to be murderous hikers.
The movie sounds like crap to begin with, but I can’t get past the idea that Zahn and Jovovich would make a good on-screen couple.
Bloody Disgusting has more details about the movie, and a superhot picture of Milla.
