Good news for Neil Patrick Harris fans, and Joss Whedon fans - Whedon has written a web musical titled Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, starring NPH as Doctor Horrible.

Fans of How I Met Your Mother might know that NPH can sing thanks to the cast’s appearance on The Megan Mullally Show (see the video on YouTube).

Broadway fans might have had a chance to catch him in Cabaret (pictured at left), Tick, Tick…BOOM!, Proof. In short, the boy can sing.

Fans of Whedon know he can pull together a musical after seeing the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode titled “Once More With Feeling.” This should be an interesting endeavor all-around. Plus, Firefly and Serenity star Nathan Fillion will also be in the web musical.

Side note: I had a chance to catch Harris in his Cabaret role and he was fantastic. My theater-major friends agreed.
