ComingSoon.net reports that the latest Harry Potter flick, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, will be released in Summer of 2009. The original release date was November 21st, 2008. This is sure to disappoint some fans, however the movie studio has logical reasoning. They cite the summer season’s success with family films (although I’m not sure Half-Blood Prince quite qualifies for that title) and the WGA strike.

Marvel announced release dates for several of its upcoming superhero movies…all the way through 2011. Iron Man 2 (yes, the sequel to the just released Iron Man) will be released on April 30th, 2010.

Thor is scheduled for June 4th, 2010.

The First Avenger: Captain America (working title) is scheduled for May 6th, 2011, closely followed by The Avengers in July 2011.

Two movies they said are in development but are not yet scheduled are Ant-Man and Spider-Man 4 (ironically).

The Milo Ventimiglia thriller Pathology dropped off the map after the first poster and trailer were released. But now we have a new poster (see below) and a way-pushed-back release date of April 18th (from the original date of November 30th, 2007).

I especially like how the tagline emphasizes “Every body has a secret,” rather than “Everybody has a secret.” It’s some nice wordplay to remind us that the movie revolves around a bunch of twisted pathology (aka morgue) students.
