We’ve all seen the totally awesome “tumbler” Batmobile from Batman Begins (seen above in its camo version before Bruce Wayne Bat-ified it), and we all wanted one of our own. One guy decided he wanted to build it as a computer.
The Bat Blog has pictures of an amazing computer case mod made out of a tumbler RC car. The guy who built it put it up for sale on eBay after showing it off at computer shows. You can check out the auction here. The auction ends July 20th, two days after The Dark Knight hits theaters.

It looks like The Joker has been doing a little bit of arts and crafts with his cards.
The Dark Knight comes out in just 17 days.

The MTV Movies Blog has the first glimpse of the teaser poster for Terminator Salvation. It’s a little fuzzy, but you can get the basic idea.
They also have the scoop on when we can expect to see the first trailer for it. Not surprisingly, they’re planning on placing it before The Dark Knight.

May was a good month for movie-goers with Iron Man, Sex and the City, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull hitting theaters (ok, maybe not that last one). Here’s what was most popular here on MovieSnobs in the month of May.
- New Hitman Images - Much like the image of Ryan Gosling has drawn readers to the above post, the image of a bald, gun-toting Timothy Olyphant has drawn readers to this post from before the movie came out.
- 40 Hottest Women Over 40 - It’s no surprise that people are still flocking to Mike’s list of the top 40 hottest women over 40. With babes like Mariska Hargitay and Eva La Rue sprinkling the page, who wouldn’t want to read it?
- The Prestige - Explained - Our most popular post ever has dropped to number 4 this month as the discussion continues. The spoiler-filled post is a jumping point for the intense discussion that follows in the comments.
- Unofficial Cloverfield Soundtrack Available - Some fans are still looking for a Cloverfield soundtrack, even though one isn’t available. This post points to a listing of all the music played at Rob’s party in the movie.
- The Dark Knight Roller Coaster in the Works - With the debut of the new Dark Knight roller coaster this month, readers have been looking for any information about the design of the ride. Lucky for them, the first reviews are coming in.
- The Dark Knight Viral Marketing - Even though most of the marketing for The Dark Knight has gone decidedly mainstream (Dark Knight candy, anyone?), readers are still looking for the crazy viral marketing that has been promoting the movie for over a year.
- The Prestige Review - Mike’s in-depth explanation of The Prestige continues to drive people to read his five-star review of the movie.
- Iron Man Review - The first superhero movie of the summer was Iron Man and it was pretty awesome.
- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Runtime - Everyone wanted to know just how long the new Indy movie was - two hours and twenty-ish minutes, if you must know.

A roller coaster enthusiast named Pat McCabe reviewed the new Dark Knight ride at Six Flags Great Adventure (New Jersey) Six Flags Great America (Chicago) on his blog A Walk In The Park.
He enjoyed the highly-themed line and the preshow room which includes a press conference with Harvey Dent. He says that the ride is enjoyable, but he makes the point that older riders might feel a tad ripped off, which I suspected back when we first heard the details of the ride.
Go check out Pat’s review of The Dark Knight coaster. He also has several pictures of the themed line and the subway-themed cars.

The Dark Knight Unofficial Movie Blog has excerpts from the latest Details magazine issue with Christian Bale on the cover.
There’s a wonderful quote about Heath Ledger’s performance as The Joker, as well as his demeanor on set:
He was incredibly intense in his performance but incredibly mellow and laid-back. Certainly there was this great anarchistic streak to it—just getting dirtier than anybody’s envisioned The Joker before. This character has power because he has no limits—absolutely nothing to lose.
Details is on stands now, and The Dark Knight will be in theaters on July 18th.
And boy has Christian Bale perfected wearing a black suit.

I bet Christian Bale never pictured his milk ad looking like this:

Empire Magazine has two new covers featuring Batman and The Joker. They’re the same issue, but the one with The Joker on the cover has been “Jokerized” (much like the Jokerized Dark Knight trailer). Check out the two covers below.

You can see images of the inside pages at IESB.

Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey has debuted the new roller coaster based on The Dark Knight. Geeks of Doom has a video from Six Flags’ PR team showing parts of the ride, and riders’ first reactions.
I’m a little worried by the woman who says it’s “gentle enough to bring all the kids.” I was hoping for a ride more like “Batman: The Ride” at Six Flags Over Georgia. It’s an intense 2 minute ride with “2 vertical loops (77 feet and 88 feet tall), 2 single corkscrews (each 40 feet long) and a one-of-a-kind heartline spin producing a feeling of weightlessness.” While the new Dark Knight coaster boasts “six 180-degree hairpin turns, climb unseen hills, plunge into pitch darkness, dip into unforeseen danger.”
Really? Dips. Hills. What am I - twelve? I was expecting something along the lines of the previous Batman ride or even the “Superman: Ultimate Flight” ride that debuted just before Superman Returns.
Granted, it is a highly themed ride featuring footage of Aaron Eckhardt as Harvey Dent shot just for the ride. And it’s an in-the-dark ride like “Space Mountain” at Disney World. Even so, I was expecting more. Anyone else disappointed by the lack of excitement in the ride?
