Christine checked out the latest Pixar film, WALL-E about a lonely little robot. She says,
I think I liked the character of Wall-E more than I liked the movie itself. It’s not that the movie was bad. I just would have been entertained by an hour and a half of Wall-E playing with toys like we saw in the promos. I didn’t really need a plot - that’s how cute he is.
Wall-E and his toys have excellent timing. In the middle of the NBA Finals Wall-E shows up playing with a basketball. He’s as cute as ever, and the trailer attached to it shows more footage of the movie than we’ve seen so far.
This new Wall-E trailer features an introduction to the robots in the movie, including Eve, Wall-E, and a cutie named Moe. It also features the Wall-E meets headphones short we’ve seen before.
Guess what I want for Christmas (or just because, since Christmas is too far away)? A dancing, talking, light-up Wall-E mp3 player. This Wall-E, available at Sharper Image, is 8″ tall and runs on AAA batteries.
Oh, and he’s only $25.
I’m not too fond of the dancing, light-up mp3 player enhancers because that’s not what listening to music is all about. But Wall-E is just too adorable not to love him. Seriously, I giggle like a schoolgirl at the trailers. Can you imagine if I had this thing on my desk?
I don’t think he can get any cuter. Here are two international posters for Wall-E. In one, he’s getting up close and personal with a cockroach. In the other, he looks very ET-like, staring up at the sky.
