While I didn’t watch the Emmys, I was curious about who won. So, I plopped on over to a few websites, looking for the winners, and found it to be harder than I imagined. So, to save you that trouble, here they are: Outstanding Reality Program: “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” I just remembered why I don’t watch the Emmys. I haven’t heard of more than half of these people and shows. And I watch a lot of television and movies. Sad, really. And while I’m ranting, why is every category called “oustanding” something or other? Do Hollywood types really need to boast their egos any more than they already are? Aren’t the huge paychecks, fancy cars, and mansions good enough? They need to refer to themselves as “outstanding” too? Unreal. |

After the news broke that the Golden Globes were being shortened to a press conference from the usual 3-hour ceremony after the news broke that Katherine Heigl and other stars were boycotting the Golden Globes due to the WGA Strike, I pretty much checked out of any news about the Globes. I’m in it for the acceptance speeches and the stunning dresses. Since I wouldn’t be getting either, I didn’t bother to watch. The guys over at /Film did, however, and they have a complete list of all the winners and the nominees. |
