  TakeBackTheFuture.com - New Movie?

TakeBackTheFuture.comWhile watching Prison Break tonight there were ads for TakeBackTheFuture.com, with the date 01-14-08 attached to it, Cloverfield-style. The website has a countdown that reads 1274 (as of 10pm on 10/22), as seen in the screenshot at left.

The site has a short, static-y video overlaid on the countdown, but it’s hard to tell what it is.

Anyone know what this is? There’s no entry on IMDb for it, and it’s not 1,247 days or 127.4 days until January 14th. Plus, January 14th is a Monday (obviously, since Cloverfield is set to be released on Friday, 1-18-08).

According to DomainSite.com, the site is owned by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation. It looks like they’re trying to imitate the success of the viral sites for Cloverfield and The Dark Knight - 1-18-08.com and WhySoSerious.com.

Kala, just so you know we’re not oblivious: the original spot we saw wasn’t a commercial, exactly. More like the little promotions that pop up all the time on TNT for what’s on next. It was overlaid over the show, and didn’t mention the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m assuming the actual commercial is much clearer.
