As if it wasn’t bad enough that Beverly Hills Chihuahua was number one at the box office last week, numbers from this past weekend show that it’s number one for the second week in a row, beating out all of this week’s newcomers.
It just goes to show, a talking animal in any movie (no matter how bad) means you’ll make money.
This weekend’s top five grossing movies were:
- Beverly Hills Chihuahua - $17.5M
- Quarantine - $14.2M
- Body of Lies - $13.1M
- Eagle Eye - $11M
- Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist - $6.5M
