  Wolverine Movie Gets an Official Title and Date

The hotly anticipated Wolverine movie has been given the official title of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Starring Hugh Jackman, who originated the role in the X-Men trilogy, it is set to hit theaters on May 1st, 2009. No, that’s not a typo…the movie really is coming out in a year and a half.
