Kevin Smith’s casting of his new flick
Zack and Miri Make A Porno has been a hot rumor on the internet. Jason Bateman was rumored. Rosario Dawson was confirmed and then bowed out. We finally have the cast as…Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks.I think these two are an excellent casting choice for Smith, as both do comedy very well. Rogen was most recently seen in
Superbad and
Knocked Up. Banks is a recurring guest star on “Scrubs.”The IMDb synopsis for the comedy says,
Two friends, both in their late 20s and feeling various strains of adulthood, decide to launch an amateur porn studio — a knockout story for their upcoming high school reunion.
I think there aren’t two more perfect actors to play out such a storyline. Zack & Miri is scheduled for release sometime in 2008.
