McG reports, via his blog that the shooting for the upcoming Terminator Salvation film has wrapped.

I, for one, am pretty psyched, and can’t wait to see some footage from the film.  What about you? Excited?

Posted by: Mike on Oct 27th, 2008 1 Comment »

GeeksofDoom is reporting that the sequel to the awesome Boondock Saints has finally started filming.

Could it be true? After all these years of false promises, broken contracts, lawsuits and lies, that we finally might really see Boondock Saints 2?

I, for one, am stoaked.  Head on over to GeeksofDoom to read the full story.

HSM 3; The Biggest Movie In The Country?
Posted by: Mike on Oct 27th, 2008 Leave a Comment »

I know, I know, there’s tons of teenagers in this country.  But really, High School Musical 3 is the biggest movie in the country over its past opening weekend?  $40 million dollars worth of teenagers and adults paid to see this movie.

I really am astounded.

I’m surprised Saw V managed to pull in just over $30 million, even with all the movie goers going to HSM.  I’m actually surprised that many people paid to see it.  It’s the first Saw in 5 years that Christine hasn’t begged me to go see opening night.  That’s probably because the franchise is beyond ridiculous now.

Forty million.  That’s 4 million people paying $10 each to see it. I… just… wow.  Simply wow.
