Fast & Furious Kills at Box Office

moneymoneymoneymoneyIt’s evident that people still want fast cars, hot chicks, and Vin Diesel.  In an amazing opening weekend, the revival of the Fast and Furious franchine pulled in a whopping $72.5 million bucks.

That $72.5 million represents half of the money that all movies this weekend made.  That amazes me.

It also puts the new Fast & Furious movie atop the list of biggest grossing movies in April, of all time, beating the previous number one, Anger Management, by over $30 million.

I guess people were hoping that this new Fast & Furious would revive, and redeem, the franchise.  Did you see it? What’d you think of it? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
