There is a God! Finally! Ever since High Def became available, there have been three movies that have been dying to be seen in all their 1080p glory.
Those movies: Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
Arguably one of cinema’s best trilogys (second only to Star Wars in some people’s opinions), it’s been much anticipated that the studios release these films on Blu-ray.
So far, I count about 94 different versions of the movie released on regular DVD. Amazon has finally set-up a page for the pre-order of the Blu-ray boxed set.
There’s no release date yet, according to Amazon. But who cares? As long as I’ve got my placeholder in line, I’m a happy guy.
