Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the MovieSnobs family to yours!
We’re sure you’re looking for good holiday viewing, and if you’re somehow tired of watching the A Christmas Story marathon on TV, here are our suggestions:
For the kiddies we have the brand new, still in theaters Happy Feet. It’s a fun little journey through the life of an outcast penguin, filled with dancing, singing and an all-star cast. There’s also the classic book brought to life in The Polar Express.
For zany Christmas-related antics there’s Christmas with the Kranks and the still in theaters Deck The Halls. There’s also Just Friends, starring the MovieSnobs favorite Ryan Reynolds and the always entertaining Anna Farris.
MovieSnob Mike’s favorite actor John Cusack stars in the awkwardly funny The Ice Harvest. The Broadway favorite Rent makes a stunning movie starring most of the original cast from the play.
Finally there’s the cuddly nature documentary March of the Penguins. While it might not be the best for the younger kids, penguin-lovers will enjoy this intimate look at such a beautiful animal.
That’s our holiday movie roundup. Here’s wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season and a bright New Year!!
