At last! Confirmation that the rumors are true! They are making another National Treasure movie. Confirmed today, by a source at Walt Disney Pictures, National Treasure: Book of Secrets is set to open nation wide on December 21st, 2007. Here’s a brief synopsis of what the sequel will be about:
When a missing page from the diary of John Wilkes Booth surfaces, Ben’s great-great grandfather is suddenly implicated as a key conspirator in Abraham Lincoln’s death. Determined to prove his ancestor’s innocence, Ben follows an international chain of clues that takes him on a chase from Paris to London and ultimately back to America. This journey leads Ben and his crew not only to surprising revelations – but to the trail of the world’s most treasured secrets.

Enough with the four billion sequels for every single movie that comes out!!! No more!!! AAAAAAHHHHH… However, Helen Mirren is still my favorite, and I love every performance I’ve had the privilege to see her in. Still!! Enough is enough!!!!
