Collateral Review

Award Winning Jamie Foxx, and Award Winning Tom Cruise made a movie together. Okay, I’ll bite, let’s check it out. I was skeptical at first. I could have sworn that I’d regret it, seeing this movie. I could have sworn that watching Tom Cruise play a hitman, wouldn’t do it for me. That I wouldn’t buy Jamie Foxx as a cab driver.

But I did. And I’m glad.

Michael Mann did a great job directing this movie. The storyline was developed extremely well into a big screen film. He does a damn good job with every movie though. I mean, come on, he did Heat, The Last of the Mohicans, and the Miami Vice TV show. (Which is a movie coming out in 2006, directed by him as well) I suppose for him, it was easy to direct Cruise and Foxx, since they more or less know what they’re doing. After all, you don’t win awards, and get 20 mil. per movie, for sucking at your job, right?

The story went along flawlessly. The day progressed, and Cruise killed more people. I’m not sure how much else I can say, without giving away the movie. But definitely see this movie. Both of the lead cast were amazing in their roles. I think Jamie Foxx should win an award for this, if he hasn’t already.

Definitely go get this movie, and watch it. You won’t be dissappointed with it.
