Saw V

No, I didn’t miss a Roman numeral. News from Comic Con suggests David Hackl, production designer and assistant director on Saw III and Saw IV will direct the as-yet-unannounced Saw V. I’m still excited that they made Saw IV, which doesn’t even come out until October. I’m thrilled that they’re making Saw V, turning this into the great horror series I had hoped for.

As I said almost two years ago, “I’d kinda like this to become the great horror series of my generation. While the generation before had Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street, my generation can have the Saw series. ”

We’ll update you with a release date for Saw V the second we hear about it.

Speaking of Jason X,, when I originally saw the trailer, I only thought of one thing: Jason popped up looking like Robocop. Yeah, that’s frightening… OK, after the say, fifth movie, we kind of get what happens. God, people, some up with something new!!!!

The beauty of the horror genre is how ridiculous and outrageous they can become. Take a look at Jason X or A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. They’re wonderfully ridiculous.

Sorry, but how outrageous will these flicks have to get if they continue the series? Quit while you’re ahead!!!!!
