You may have heard recently that Kristen Stewart (Adventureland, Twilight, pothead) will be playing Joan Jett in an upcoming biopic.
Casting news, courtesy of RopesofSilicon, is that Dakota Fanning has been cast, as well.
Fanning would play lead singer Cheri Currie in the film which was written and will be directed by Floria Sigismondi when it begins production in late spring.
