  Gordon-Levitt and Wilson join Portman

I’ll admit it. I’ll see anything Natalie Portman’s in.  Not because she’s the greatest actress alive, but because she’s just likeable.  Though the only movie I’ve seen with her in it more than one time, was V For Vendetta, because that’s a bad-ass movie.  I loved Garden State but have never revisited it, mainly because I don’t think it’d hold up in a second viewing.

With that said, her next (indie) project is called Herser, which I have no idea what it means.  Two more reasons just were announced to make me want to see that:  Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rainn Wilson.

In my opinion, Gordon-Levitt is entirely too underrated as an actor. (See The Lookout.) He deserves more credit, and more big roles than he gets.  Just because he started out on television doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any acting chops.

The other reasons, Rainn Wilson. That’s right, Dwight K. Schrute.  Need I say more?

Herser is a story that centers on a loser twentysomething who invades the life of an awkward 13-year-old who is living with a pill-popping father and grandmother.

Principal photography starts on Monday, in Los Angeles.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt doesn’t get nearly the credit he deserves.  He started out on “3rd Rock From the Sun” on television, years ago, and moved onto some small time movies.

He showed up on my radar when he did The Lookout, and Brick, and people started noticing that he really could act.

Gordon-Levitt was cast late last night in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming Inception, which we still know very little about.

That brings our main cast to: Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page.

Inception is set for a July 10th, 2010 release.
