  Bartha back on television

Not many people probably remember the television show “Teachers”, which Bartha starred in a couple years after the first National Treasure film.  No one really remembers it, because it got canned after just five episodes. But I assure you, it was funny, and brilliant.

With that said, I was stoaked to hear the news that Justin Bartha had been cast in a pilot called “Station”, being directed by Ben Stiller (who I personally prefer behind the camera, than in front of it.)

20th Century Fox describes the show as

“Station” centers on a covert CIA operative (Bartha) and his workmates who are embedded in a South American country on a mission to install a new dictator.

He’s a freakin’ CIA agent. Who doesn’t want to watch another show about CIA operatives?  Sign me up.

We found out about Justin Bartha’s new movie The Rebound a month ago and already there’s a poster.

There’s no release date set yet, but the movie stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as a single mom and Justin Bartha as her younger next door neighbor.

  Another Movie for Justin Bartha

My favorite part of the National Treasure movies has another movie in the works, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Unfortunately, it’s with Christina Ricci.

It’s called Long Time Gone and also stars Anjelica Huston and Josh Lucas.

  Justin Bartha In New Movie

Justin Bartha, the funny guy Riley Poole from National Treasure and National Treasure: Book of Secrets, will be starring in a new movie with Catherine Zeta-Jones. The Hollywood Reporter says the movie will be called The Rebound, and focuses on a romance between the young Bartha and the older single mom next door Zeta-Jones.

I’m just happy to see Justin Bartha get a leading role. He was my favorite part of both National Treasure movies, and I really enjoyed his TV show Teachers for the short time it was on the air.
