I know, you’re thinking the same thing I am. “What the hell? Another one?” And the answer is simple: as long as people keep paying to see these (now) ridiculous movies, Lionsgate will keep making them.
This year will mark the sixth in a row that we see a Saw movie. And this year’s plot apparently spins off of last years (which was the first I’ve skipped):
Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.
What about you? Any intention on giving Lionsgate your $10 for the sixth installment?
The folks over at Lionsgate have provided a new Red Band trailer for the upcoming Saw V, which proves to just try to out-gross last year’s Saw IV. Take a look, assuming you’re “legal” to do so by clicking here.
Note: I tried to embed it here, so you wouldn’t have to click over there, but their embed code doesn’t work, all it does is play their pre-roll ad, and I’m sure you’re more interested in the trailer.
