Someone recommeneded that I check out Taken, that comes out later this month. I really didn’t have an interest, but just saw the trailer for it, and it looks pretty good.
I managed to get a screener copy of it, and will be watching it this afternoon when I get home from seeing Seven Pounds. The trailer for Taken is below.
It’s been a long time since Jim Carrey was tops at the box office. His new “I say yes to everything” comedy topped the charts this past weekend, pulling in just over $18 million.
Yes Man – $18.2M
Seven Pounds – $16M
The Tale of Despereaux – $10.5M
The Day the Earth Stood Still – $10.2M
Four Christmases – $7.75M
This weekend was the first Will Smith movie that I can remember in a long time that didn’t take the number one spot on opening weekend. Beat out by Jim Carrey, drats!
