  Segel Interview – Mom Cried
Posted by: Christine on Apr 15th, 2008 Leave a Comment » has a great video interview with Jason Segel, writer and star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall in which he talks about his real-life naked breakup that inspired the opening scene of the movie.

He also talks about how he thought it would be funny not to tell his mom and his sister that he’s fully naked in the movie, which of course ended badly. Segel says,

All of a sudden, out comes my penis. And I turn to the left and my sister’s laughing hysterically. And I turn to the right, and my mother is literally crying.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall comes out this Friday, and you can read our review of it here.

This Is The Most Ridiculous Thing I’ve Ever Seen…

This woman is a crazy – AND whoever that TV host is should do his homework. Asking, “What if it turns out it’s an alien or a monster destroying New York?” revealed him as unfit for his position. A simple Google search would reveal it IS a monster movie.

It has nothing to do with bad people attacking the city, or Al Queda, or September 11th, 2001. Quite frankly, anyone who thinks so needs to get their emotions in check and realize that the entire world doesn’t revolve around that day. (Before you start attacking me, I’m a former New Yorker and lost a very close family friend in one of the Towers that day, so back off.)

Anyone else think it’s about time Will Smith was cast as a superhero? In Hancock he stars as an apathetic superhero with a knack for destroying things while saving lives. In the trailer he destroys several highway signs, a sailboat, and most of a train. Check it out below, followed by the awesome poster.

Hancock hits theaters July 2nd, 2008, and is sure to be yet another Will Smith Fourth of July Blockbuster.
