Ok, maybe it doesn’t know who you are, but it knows your race, gender, and approximate age.
Engadget reports on new billboards that use facial recognition software to not only count the number of people that look at the ad, but can tell how old they are and their gender. Not only that, but newer versions might even be able to record racial information.
Of course all of this information is used to better target the advertising towards the consumers.
